Picking Priority

Control picklist preferences with location based picking priority settings

Adding Picking Priority

To add Picking priority to a location select the gear icon in the upper right and under Lists select "All Lists", then select Locations. Find the actions column on the right side and select "edit" on the location. Under Picking Priority there are 4 options: Highest, Primary, Overstock, and Last. Highest being the first location inventory will be pulled from and Last being the last location inventory will be pulled from.

Picking Priority Uses

Picking Priority automatically suggests inventory with the highest priority first for shipping or production.

When printing a pick list inventory with the highest priority will be displayed first.

Part Tracked Inventory

Picking Priority is especially useful for inventory that is part tracked, because there is no expiration date to use as FIFO.
