Editing Date of Expiration and Supplier Lot Number

Editing Lot Information within the Inspection Approval

Prior to Incoming Inspection, operators may enter an incoming material's Date of Expiration and Supplier Lot Number. The received inventory will be locked out under a Quarantined Status until e-signature of the associated inspection approval.

Upon inspection, quality control personnel will notice any errors in the Date of Expiration or Supplier Lot Number. Managers with permissions to Update Date of Expiration and Update Manufacturer Lot Number can edit these fields within the inspection approval.



The barcode printed at receiving is up-to-date in the system. However the original label might display old information. If Supplier Lot Number or Date of Expiration is visible on your label templates, you should reprint a label.
